A merchandiser has gone viral as he impressed netizens when he was able to understand a customer’s odd question.
What comes into your mind when someone asks you to look for “farmer Sanchez” while at the grocery? Surely, you’d be puzzled! However, one smart merchandiser had a eureka moment and realized it was parmesan cheese!
Netizens who saw the video of Jun Aldovino on Facebook were truly impressed! The merchandiser was later identified to be Fritz Vincent Adajo. He had been working for 5 months at a popular supermarket. He said he would often encounter different customers with sometimes odd requests.
So, when he was asked about “farmer Sanchez”, he instantly understood that it was cheese.
“Almost 5 months na rin po kasi ako sa trabaho ko as merchandiser, every day po ay different customers ang na e-encounter namin. Halos lahat po sa kanila ay mga inutusan [ako] mag-grocery kaya ko po agad na gets yung ‘farmer sanchez’. Sa totoo lang po bigla lang din po pumasok sa isip ko yung parmesan cheese,” he said in a report from Pilipino Star Ngayon Digital.
He also didn’t expect many would be impressed with him. With the praise and admiration he received, Fritz said he is inspired to work even harder.
“Nang dahil po sa nangyari, mas lalo po akong ginanahan at na-inspire na ipagpatuloy ang pag-seserbisyo nang maganda,” he said.
Meanwhile, the uploader of the viral video admitted that he didn’t expect the merchandiser to easily get his request.
“I did not expect na mage-gets n’ya agad. I was amazed at how he responded and even provided excellent customer service,” he explained.
A netizen praised Fritz, saying, “Actually, natawa ako, it’s because, ang galing niya, nakuha agad niya yung meaning ni customer, which is parmesan cheese.”
