A man initially mistaken for a ‘taong grasa’ (dirty, unkempt homeless person) wowed everyone when he went to a school to donate crayons, instead.
Do you think this is just a social experiment?
Man Mistaken for ‘Taong Grasa’
It really is easy for us to judge other people based on their appearance, particularly what they were, what bag they’re bringing, and their overall look.
So, when a man wearing some baggy clothes and slippers entered a school carrying a sack, it’s not really surprising that everyone thought he’s a ‘taong grasa’ because of the way he looks.

Some students and teachers might have felt scared of him, but he didn’t mind. He went straight toward a teacher and showed her the contents of his sack: crayons he wants to give to the students as they begin their face-to-face classes.

In a post shared by Facebook page, Ayusin Mo, photos of this man showed that he had indeed, donated crayons to the school.
Although the identity of the man and the teacher weren’t shared by the Facebook page, many netizens are surely impressed over what he had done.
Real or Social Experiment?
However, some netizens were skeptical about the man’s true identity as a ‘taong grasa’ or someone who likes like one.

They believe that he’s just trying to look this way even if he actually has money because it could be a social experiment or a prank done for social media.
Of course, it’s that’s entirely possible and this guy could just be posing as a ‘taong grasa’ to find kindhearted, deserving people to share his blessings.

But we really don’t mind. Crayons are expensive, and many students don’t have them in their bags. It’s good that this guy made some students happy by giving them crayons, no matter his possible intention of getting social media clout.
