The organization said they are grateful for having two Darnas who help not only humans but animals, as well.

“We at Pawssion Project are very lucky to have two Darnas, Sharon Cuneta and Angel Locsin, who help both hoomans and animals,” it said.

Founded in October 2018 by Malou Perez, Pawssion Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of dogs in distress. Since then, the journey has led the group to more than 500 rescues and over 100 rehomed dogs.

Taking time to recognize the support of Sharon, Angel, and their other heroes, the organization recalled all the hardships and struggles it went through and how things were made possible because of them.

“It is difficult to put into words how grateful we are for finally being able to reach (and in this case, surpass) targeted donation goals. We can still remember those challenging days when we barely get enough funding to cover a single day of shelter maintenance costs, and we’d often have panic att*cks fretting how we can sustain our rescues needs. Those days when our worries keep us awake at night. Those days when our anxiety is up to the roof knowing that we can do so much more only if we have enough resources,” it expressed. “For each and everyone of you who made this possible, thank you!”
