Top-billed Kapamilya stars joined hands last March 22 to raise funds to help families that are affected by the Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine due to the COVID-19.
Entitled “Pantawid Pagibig: At Home Together Concert, the concert featured performances from husband and wife tandem, Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez- Alcasid, Gary V, Martin Nievera, the newly-weds, Sarah and Matteo Guidicelli, Jericho Rosales, Toni Gonzaga, and love teams such as LizQuen and KathNiel.
The ‘It’s Showtime’ casts were also in complete attendance including Vhong Navarro, Jhong Hilario, Vice Ganda, who sang an original composition, ‘Corona Bye Bye Na’ and Anne Curtis-Heussaff who recently gave birth.
Other Kapamilya stars such as Bea Alonzo, Angel Locsin and Luis Manzano also shared their messages to inspire despite these trying times and also to reminded everyone to stay at home. They also thank the front liners such as the health care providers and peace keepers.
“Ang dami na nating hinarap na krisis dati, at lahat ‘yun nalagpasan natin nang magkakasama, kagaya rin po nito ‘yun. Sana po ay ingatan natin ang ating kalusugan, hindi lang pisikal kundi pati na rin po ang ating kaisipan,” Alonzo shared.
Moreover, famous celebrity vloggers , Alex Gonzaga and Ivana Alawi shared a special vlog on how they cope with the community quarantine.
At the end of the six-hour show, the network was able to raise a total of P 237,997, 391. Wow! Blessings have poured!
