Love Thy Woman actress Sunshine Cruz , who had been working closely with her COVID-positive co-star Christopher de Leon, is not experiencing any symptom of the disease.

In an interview with the well-repected entertainment reporter Leo Bukas of Push, Cruz assured that she’s perfectly fine and has been focusing on strengthening her immune system.
“We are all okay naman, so far. Self-quarantined lahat. Nag-a-assist ang ABS-CBN. We had a conference call pa with ABS bosses and Dr. Susan Mercado. So far, so good. Almost two weeks na din po (since) the last time I was exposed to Kuya Boyet and so far no symptoms,” she said.
“Pinalalakas ko na lang ang katawan ko by sleeping well, eating healthy, and pinapalakas ang immune system pati ng mga bata. And, of course, kailangan ng dasal not just for us pero para sa mga mahal natin sa buhay.”
On March 17, De Leon disclosed that he tested positive for COVID-19; adding that his wife Sandy Andolong, daughter Mica, and house helper are currently in self-quarantine.
“Our doctor confirmed that I have COVID-19. I’ve had no recent travel history outside of the Philippines and no known contact with anyone who is positive to have the virus. However, due to the nature of my work in the entertainment business, I have interacted with many people. I therefore ask anyone who has come in contact with me within the last week or two to observe stringent self-quarantine, observe for symptoms and follow the triage procedures published by the DOH, whether asymptomatic or not,” he wrote.

On March 24, Andolong shared the good news that her husband is finally home after recovering from the disease.
