People in evacuation centers need a lift on their spirits as uncertainties to when they are coming home remains a question. Thankfully there are kindhearted performers who give their talent for free to help people destress from their current situation.

On Facebook, Arjhay Yansua posted a video of a poi dancer or fire spinner who entertained the evacuees in Nasugbu, Batangas Friday evening. The evacuees were seen filming the event while enjoying this rare performance. The fire spinner received cheers from the crowd who were delighted to witness his exhibition of fire and light sometimes showing letters on both ends of his gears.

Netizens were also amazed and touched with how these evacuees were given importance.

“Very Good job!! Very nice. Thank you at napasaya mo ang ating mga kababayan kahit meron silang pinagdadaanan. God bless you more.’

“Salamat po! Naiibsan pansamantala ang kalungkutan at pangamba ng mga evacuees gayundin lalo mga bata na natrauma sa trahedya.”

The video whioh Arjhay described as, “daming naluha dito” became a hit. It has reached 15K likes and 20K shares.

He expressed how happy he was seeing they were not left behind and people find ways to make them smile and ease the pain they are feeling. “Sadyang si Lord na po ang bahala sa kanila,” he said.

Arjhay has stayed for a week already at the Senior High School of Pantalan. They came from Lemery which also suffered ashfall. They were joined by other residents who came from San Nicolas and Agoncillo.

As of the moment, Taal Volcano remains at Alert Level 4. And as to when its danger will end, no one can predict.
