Can you still remember how the Volkswagen Beetle was able to touch your life?

Through an emotional video, the well-loved vehicle said goodbye to all the lives it has touched in its entire existence.
“After 70 years, the Volkswagen Beetle is retiring. Say g(o\!/o)dbye with Ren McCormack, Kevin Bacon, Andy Warhol, and Andy Cohen as the little bug drives its last mile. #TheLastMile,” Volkswagen USA captioned the video.
A lot of YouTube users commented on the video; recalling some of their fondest memories and most unforgettable moments with the iconic and well-loved car.
“0:05 looks exactly like me and my grandpa when he was teaching me! It’s even the same colored Beetle!” one of the users, daminwidi, commented.
“My first Beetle, when I was 15. My last Beetle, when I was 35. My Bus is with me for 20 years now. So much respect for VW’s engineering in a time when they made simple, honest, affordable, quality vehicles,” Bugz Don’t BugMe said.
“When I was 13, my dad’s friend asked him to help drive a yellow VW beetle to his home as he was about to gift it to his wife. My father came home and cried to my mother as he imagined me driving a Beetle one day. He started teaching me how to drive that very day,” Rayna Malik reminisced.

While Rachel Gibson shared, “My whole life I wanted a Beetle. Finally, I was able to purchase one in 2019 with my dad before he passed away in November and before they stopped producing them. I’m not crying you’re crying.”
