Charlie’s Angels actress Cameron Diaz has welcomed motherhood in the beginning of the new decade.
Through an Instagram post, the 47-year-old Hollywood star announced the birth of her first daughter with husband, Good Charlotte frontman Benji Madden; saying their newborn child Raddix Madden has captured their hearts and completed their family.
“Happy New Year from the Maddens! We are so happy, blessed, and grateful to begin this new decade by announcing the birth of our daughter, Raddix Madden. She has instantly captured our hearts and completed our family,” read the statement she posted on the popular photo sharing app. “From our family to all of yours, we’re sending our love and best wishes for a Happy New Year and Happy New Decade.”
Cameron and Benji has yet to post images of their child as they would like to protect their baby’s privacy — but they shared that they have been blessed with a cute little one.
“While we are overjoyed to share this news, we also feel a strong instinct to protect our little one’s privacy. So we won’t be posting pictures or sharing any more details, other than the fact that she is really really cute!” it was noted.
Aside from being one of the lead actors of Charlie’s Angels, Cameron also became remarkable for her role in the hit 1997 movie My Best Friend’s Wedding; where she joined other amazing stars, including Julia Roberts, Dermot Mulroney, and Rupert Everett.
