Nearly half a decade since she lost the love of her life, multimedia star Mich Liggayu, the other half of popular internet love team Jamich, has finally seen the light — thanks to her “tala” (star)!
Through her Tala dance cover, Mich revealed that she is now an expectant mother to a child who has given her a reason to live.
“Meet my tala — ang magbibigay-ningning sa naging madilim kong mundo,” she wrote on the caption of the video she uploaded on YouTube; adding the hashtags #NewBeginnings2020 and #PlotTwist.
“Thank you for giving me a reason to live. Our greatest adventure begins,” she told her little one.
It can be recalled that Mich and her beloved boyfriend Jam Sebastian, the other half of Jamich, were having the time of their lives — pursuing their passion in multimedia arts, receiving so much love from a huge number of fans, relishing the world as a happy couple — when he suddenly fell ill.
In May 2014, an emotional Mich proposed to her boyfriend Jam, telling him, “Hi, Jam, happy anniversary. We are here at the happiest place on earth, with the happiest people on earth, I hope I’m making you the happiest man on earth. And I’m sure you can make me the happiest woman on earth by saying ‘yes’…will you be my ‘happy ever after?”
In tears, Jam accepted her marriage proposal, saying, “Bakit ikaw nag-propose? Siyempre, oo, mahal kita.”
Haplessly, less than a year after he said “yes” to her, Jam succumbed to his dreaded condition; leaving his beloved fiancee heartbroken.
Following his demise, Mich posted a photo of him every once in a while, expressing her love to the latter and telling him how much she misses him. Jamich fans expressed happiness for her, saying that Jam is definitely smiling from wherever he is as he watches his one true love begin again.
