Good news, 90s kids! Skechers is set to welcome this decade with a touch of nostalgia as it will releases its “Sailor Moon Collection” on the first month of 2020.

Yes, this month!
On Facebook, Sailor Moon Philippines announced Skechers’ collaboration with Sailor Moon; saying the footwear company is set to release its “Sailor Moon Collection” this January 2020.
“Here’s what you’ve been waiting for! Skechers x Sailor Moon collab! These will be released in China first (January 2020). Let’s hope it will be released here too same as the One Piece sneakers recently. We will post updates as well if we can order for you, moonies!” read the caption of the photos it uploaded.
The collection includes shoes and apparels inspired by a Sailor Moon character; including Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Venus, among others.
Sailor Moon premiered in Japan on TV Asahi on March 7, 1992 and concluded on February 8, 1997.
In the Philippines, a Tagalized version of it began airing in October 1994 on ABC 5 during Saturdays.
Because of this version, Sailor Moon’s line — the Tagalog version of Sailor Moon’s introductory “I will punish you” speech — became popular to 90s kids, who were fond of imitating their well-loved character; saying, “Ako ang magandang tagapagtanggol ng pag-ibig at katarungan! Ako si Sailor Moon! Parurusahan kita sa ngalan ng buwan!”
