Celebrating her 32nd birthday with an engagement ring on her finger, Alex Gonzaga shared her happiness with her followers by posting a photo of her with longtime boyfriend –now her fiance– Mikee Morada.
On Instagram, the actress-vlogger created a birthday post; revealing that she is now engaged with Mikee.
In the caption of the picture that she uploaded, she expressed, “Thank you for all your birthday greetings! I feel loved. Thank you, Jesus!” The well-known influencer also promised to post a vlog; making fans even more excited and happier.
A lot of followers and friends commented on Alex’s post; writing sweet messages for her and her boyfriend of three years.
“Juskooooo! Congrats! Na-Beyonce ka na! He put a ring on it! Happy birthday, @cathygonzaga,” Instagram user @tjroachrhysllyrc commented, mentioning a line from Beyonce’s song “Single Ladies”.
“So happy! Excited na ako! Congratulations, my baby! Dami kong iniyak!” another follower, @katzzzzzy, wrote.
“Huhuhu Alex, I love you! Best wishes and happy birthday! Yes, yes, yes, finally! OMG, ewan, lahat na huhuhu love yo, Alex and Mikee,” @_chrissamaeee expressed.

In just a few hours after posting, the photo has already gotten nearly half a million hearts on the photo sharing app.
Mikee, in a previous interview with StarStudio, said he made the first move by asking his friend, actor Piolo Pascual, to introduce him to Alex, who happens to be the latter’s co-host in the Sunday noontime musical-variety show, ASAP.
“Natutuwa ako sa kanya. Feeling ko lang makakasundo ko ’to. Gusto ko maging friend, makilala lang,” he shared.
The funny thing was, Alex, who was still dating someone else at that time, told Piolo that if things did not work out, then she would meet Mikee. In 2016, she joked, “PJ (Piolo), ano na, single ako. Nasa’n na ‘yong ‘papakilala mo sa akin? Di ba may cute kang friend?”
And the rest is history.
