A Twitter user noticed the resemblance of dog paws to koalas and shared such realization online. Uploading a couple of dog paw photos on the aforementioned micro-blogging site, @41Strange said, “Dog paws look like tiny koalas.”

Koalas are tree-dwelling marsupial of coastal eastern Australia. The cute tint animals are virtually tailless; have a stout and gray body; and a head that features a broad face with a wide, rounded, leathery nose, small yellow eyes, and big fluffy ears. Owing to the animal’s superficial resemblance to a small bear, koalas are sometimes called, albeit erroneously, the koala bears.

A lot of social media users agreed with the user; as of posting, the Twitter photos already has more than 10,000 retweets and over 50,000 favorites.

Some even edited pictures of dog paws only to show the similarities between such body part and the tiny herbivorous animal.
