Bidding goodbye to 2019 and saying hello to the approaching year, Up Dharma Down vocalist Armi Millare created a meaningful and  touching post about self-love.

In a Facebook post, Millare said self-love is not just having a two-hour bath in a tub but learning to appreciate every single part of oneself.

“I don’t just see trees,” read the caption of the photo she uploaded. “I see something close to the 37 trillion cells we have in our bodies. When I think of self-love, I think of it differently now–it’s not just a two-hour bath in a tub…but to learn to appreciate every single part of us–all thirty seven point two trillion parts of us.”

She noted that there will always be consequences so love you first like you got your own back if no one else will.

“A wise old woman told me that once we learn to love every morsel of our being, we become close to that love, we become fair to ourselves and learn what boundaries are about. And then kindness–not the hallmark idea of it that’s mostly lip service shall ooze out of us,” the OPM artist said.

“There will always be consequences so love you first like you got your own back if no one else will. Examine yourself. Then move it. Talk to people. Ask questions. Laugh at yourself. Listen to your gut. Spend lots of time alone. See friends. Don’t be afraid to make new ones. Hydrate,” she continued, ending her post with, ” I love you 2019, go where you belong—to my archives.”
