Well-known beauty doctor Victoria “Vicki” Belo, the heart of Belo Medical Group, shared an old photo of her showing how camera shy she was because she always felt unattactive back then; saying she is thankful there is Belo.

“I’m the first from the left. I was the tallest girl in class then I stopped growing. So sad. But you can see even at 10 years old I was already camera shy because I felt unattractive. Thank God there’s Belo,” she wrote in the caption of the picture she uploaded on Instagram.
Her past experiences made her become even more passionate on her profession. In fact, she shared she has always been the first one to try treatments to make sure that those procedures will work on her clients.
Earlier, Doc Vicki shared on “It’s Showtime” that she used to be bullied because of being “fat” and “ugly”
“Hindi n’yo alam, kaya ako pumasok sa beauty business dahil I’m also a victim of bullying. So when I was a child, I was very fat. I was five years old, I weighed a hundred pounds. And I was adopted, ampon po ako ng mga Belo,” she said; holding back her tears. “Iyong kids tinutukso ako, ‘Bakit ka pinamigay, dahil pangit ka? Or dahil ang taba mo?'”
“I think people don’t understand that the reason I went into beauty is (because) I want to make everyone beautiful. Because when they’re more beautiful, they’re more loved, accepted,” she expressed.

Sadly, many would agree that superficial looks do affect confidence at times.
