The labor force mostly made up the daily commuters in the Philippines. And with the increasing dilemma of traffic around the Metro, modes of transportation have always been a big struggle to many of us.

This is why the popular ride-hailing services available in our country have been a big blessing to the Filipino commuters— and one of these is the transportation network group, Grab Philippines.

However, it is also common that we hear a lot of negative stories from other users of the service, or we have our own unfortunate experiences that instead of giving us ease of transportation, it gives us the opposite.

And for Grab, to make up over the negative feedback from their users, they usually give promotions or rewards that will lessen the fare of the users.

And just this week, Grab posted on their Faceboook account the launch of the new feature on one of their ride services GrabShare where they offer flat-rate fare on selected locations in Metro Manila.

With Grab’s strong promotion of sharing rides through GrabShare, according to their website, this enables commuters access to lower fares, comfortable ride, sharing community, and helping the environment.

The new feature’s focus is to pay ride fares for as low as P99 or P149 when they choose the option under GrabShare to “Look for Other Passengers” instead of choosing “Find a Ride Now” that will give you the nearest GrabShare ride immediately.

This promo starts this July 29, and will be available first in Makati-BGC Zone and Ortigas-West-Pasig-Mandaluyong Zone. While it will be rolled out to other cities across Metro Manila on August 5.

This feature is seen to be a great aid not only to commuters but can also help ease the traffic around Metro Manila.

Following this convenient and brilliant promotion was observed to be a positive way of Grab to recover on its recent ad mishap highlighting Gerald Anderson’s love life.

The previous promotional content for Grab 6-seater gained negative reactions from netizens as it seemed to entail that ‘sharing’ or “cheating” is okay.

Well, that’s water under the bridge now.
