People love their pets the same way as we love our children. Our pets do a lot more than just making us feel loved and happy. They can also help in relieving stress, boosting self-esteem, and lowering your cholesterol. Our relationship with our pets, especially our dogs, is like a parent and child relationships. We show them parenting responses and these dogs take on more childlike and juvenile characteristics.
This is why when we lost our pet or we haven’t seen them for quite some time, we do our best to find them, even to the point of posting advertisements and radio and TV announcements.
The Lost Dog
A Yorkshire Terrier Mixed Shih Tzu got parted to its fur parent during a festival in Manila. Luckily, the group who found it is the Fire Brigade Volunteer or Action Bravo of Manila. They went to the public service show Raffy Tulfo in Action to ask help in finding the owner.
According to the team leader, they found the dog along the street without its owner. He also added that he was able to determine the face of the owner since he saw her beforehand.
Last April 2, Sonny Catandihan went to Raffy Tulfo in Action and was claiming that he is the owner of the lost dog. However, Raffy had to talk to the team leader again since according to him, the owner looks like one of the staffs of the show. Upon talking to the team leader, he revealed that knows the people claiming to be the owner of the dog and they are just pretending to be the dog’s family.
Sonny came with proofs that the dog is really his. He showed several photos and videos of the dog, even during the day before he lost it. He also released medical documents from the veterinary.
The stronger evidence showed when Sonny met with his lost pet. After hearing his voice, the dog, which he’s calling “Chuchay” barked happily. They are excited to see each other after several days of parting.
We are happy to see that the fur parent and the dog are finally reunited.
