16-Year-Old Mother-of-Two Shares Her Story, Touches Hearts of Audience in Noon Time Show

It’s really alarming and sad to know that the statistics on teenage pregnancy is getting higher.

One teenager shared her story on the Mother’s Day episode of Kapuso variety show, “Wowowin”.

The 16-year-old contestant named Rang said she got pregnant with her firstborn at the early age of 14 and now she just gave birth to her second child. Rang honestly shared that her children came from two different fathers.

Her eldest child was the fruit of love with her lover of 6 months. When she confessed that she’s pregnant with his child, he denied being the father and later broke up with her.

“Pinagtapat ko po sa kanya na buntis ako. Sabi po niya, hindi po siya ang ama,” she said while talking to the Wowowin host, Willie Revillame.

Then she met a 62-year-old man. Rang said that he was the one who supported the needs of her eldest child. Unfortunately, her lover is no longer living due to the uncontrolled malformed cell growth in his liver.

Willie Revillame then talked to Rang’s father, Dan, who said that when Rang was born, he brought her to Pangasinan so that his mother would take care of Rang while he’s in Manila working. Rang’s mother, on the other hand, left them when she was only 1-year-old.

Despite what had happened, Tatay Dan promised to her that he will continue to support her.

“Nakaalalay pa rin ako sa’yo. Alam kong ito’y isang halimbawa na magbibigay aral sa iyong buhay at sana’y hindi na maulit muli,” he said.

“Salamat po dahil napalaki niyo akong mag-isa kahit na nangangalakal lang po kayo. Sorry po kung maaga po akong nag-anak,” Rang said to her father, admitting all the mistakes that she had done.

Rang also took the opportunity to look for her mother named Maria Teres Enriquez.

“Tagal ko ng pinapangarap na makita ka,” she said.

We all have different problems and shortcomings but what’s the most important thing is you stand up from your mistakes and start over.
