Student in Davao With Bone Disorder Graduates Magna Cum Laude

We always want to get the best of what life has to offer. However, there are several circumstances that some of us are experiencing, hindering them from enjoying life to the fullest: poverty or disability.

For Blissie Cervantes, who is suffering from a bone disorder ever since she’s young, she chooses not to let her condition serve as a limitation to whatever she wants to achieve.

Choose to Achieve Your Dreams

Blissie is a proof that if you want to reach your dreams, as long as you are determined, you can achieve anything that you want.

This inspiration woman is a 22-year-old college student from Davao City. Well, she did not only graduate: she finished with flying colors! Blissie impressed everyone by graduating as Magna Cum Laude. Achieving this high status is hard enough for an ordinary student, what more for someone who has a crippling bone disorder, right?

How She’s Able to Do it

Blissie did not allow her disability to stop her from attaining her goals. Even if she’s diagnosed with a bone disorder called osteogenesis imperfecta, according to her, she’s an ordinary student at her school.

Makinig sa teacher, sundin ang teacher kung ano ang requirements, mag-study kung mag-exam. Just love what you do dahil kung burden sa iyo ang iyong ginagawa, di mo talaga gusto pero kung isipin mong may ma-gain ka sa iyong ginagawa then magagawa mo kung ano ang kaya mong gawin.

For now, Blissie will be looking for a job. She wants to either work in the government or establish her own business.

Knowing ang ibang stores kung mag-aaply pupunta ka sa downtown, isa-isahin mo ang mga companies na may hiring, iniisip ko mahirap talaga dahil siyempre magpapasama ako sa ina at kuya ko, ganyan talaga parati.
