Kakai Bautista Agrees to Work With Ahron Villena After Finally Moving On

Last year, people laughed and cried with Kakai Bautista after her romance with Ahron Villena turned from laughter to tears. Many social media users admired the romantic relationship of the two, from their several sweet photos and escapades. A lot of people also felt devastated after Kakai admitted that there was never “them.”

This is Kakai’s response regarding her current relationship with Aaron, a year after they parted ways. The rift started when Ahron deleted all their photos together on Instagram in 2016.

During her interview, the comedienne expressed a message that she was ‘friendzoned” by the actor.

In a press con for her musical way back 2017, Kakai said that they were already on good terms and she accepts Ahron whoever he is. This angered the actor since he felt that Kakai is questioning his sexuality, prompting him to say hurtful words.

Bakit ano ba ang alam mo sa pagkatao ko? Naging tayo ba?
Ako ang alam ko NEVER naging tayo.

Together Again

After a year, the two are together again: this time, in a movie. The comedienne clarified that she already moved on that’s why she agreed to star in the film.

Okay naman, kasi wala na, e. Yung okay na kami, alam mo yun?
Sabi ko nga, everybody deserves a second chance, even friendship.
Bigyan na lang namin ang isa’t isa ng second chance, di ba?
Marami din naman kaming natutunan sa ginawa namin sa isa’t isa at sa mga nangyari.

She also revealed the real reason behind her decision.

Tsaka tinanggap ko yung pelikula kasi kailangan ko yung pera. Yun talaga. Sabi ko talaga sa kanya, ‘Kaya ko tinanggap ‘to dahil pera kasi iyon.’ Parang pinag-isipan kong mabuti, nag-consult ako, ‘Ano ba? Gagawin ko ba ‘to?’
Kasi, sigurado sabong na naman ang mga etchoserang palakey [palaka], di ba? Tapos andami ko na namang maririnig, andami na namang ganito.
Inisip ko, kailangan ko ng pera, kailangang mag-ipon, may pinag-iipunan ka. Isipin mo na lang yun. And okay na naman kayo. Enjoy mo lang. So, yun lang ang nakatatak sa isip ko.
Iisipin ko pa ba ang sasabihin ng ibang tao kesa sa pangangailangan ng pamilya ko? Siyempre hindi. Unahin ko ang pamilya ko. Saka na muna ang feelings!
