Erik Matti’s photo with Liza Soberano excites Darna fans

Darna and Liza Soberano fans couldn’t contain their anticipation over the much-awaited superheroine film.

Even the director of the movie adaption of Darna, Erik Matti, seem excited for his superhero film. Direk Erik shared a photo with Liza on Instagram showing the two of them smiling happily. Matti shared that they unexpectedly bumped into each other inside the ABS-CBN building.

He said, “Bumped into this pretty girl. I saw the future that you are going to be in a superhero movie.” Matti also used the hashtag “theprojectthatshouldnotbenamedyet.”

Last month, Liza confirmed that shooting for Darna already started. She told ABS-CBN, “It’s actually really fun. Kakaiba rin ito talaga na pelikuila, and it’s really fun working with direk Erik Matti and the rest of the crew. I’m enjoying it.”

The Bagani star also revealed that Tony Labrusca has been considered to be one of her co-actors for the film.
