A Good Samaritan From Ilocos Norte Returns a Missing Wallet Containing More Than PHP10,000

What is the worst feeling than discovering that your wallet is missing? What can make it worse is that a few minutes before it went missing, you withdrew cash from your bank?

Princess Winona Reyes Valdez went from outright panicking to crying tears of joy when a Good Samaritan named Dennis Alipio called her to say that he found her missing wallet.

Dennis is a tricycle driver and a resident of Barangay 21, San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte. Even if life is tough for him and his family, he did not think twice and returned the wallet he found inside his tricycle.

Not an Ordinary Story

Dennis’ search for finding the owner of the wallet is not an ordinary quest. Unlike when you are trying to find the owner of a smartphone, you can’t just easily get in touch with the wallet’s owner. However, Dennis tried his best to locate Princess.

Luckily, there are receipts inside the wallet with the owner’s name. She also left the case of her SIM card inside the wallet, making it easier for Dennis to contact her.

No More Hope

At first, Princess was already worried that she cannot locate her wallet anymore. She’s already thinking that the next passenger already has her wallet. She cannot remember the plate number of the tricycle too.

The Good Samaritan revealed that he didn’t think of keeping the money and he’s happy to return it to the rightful owner.
