Malaysian actress Carmen Soo happily announced the birth of her first child with Chinese husband Benson Tan.
In an Instagram post on February 11, Carmen shared their first family picture as she expressed being grateful and thankful for the coming of their baby whom they named Béa.
Together with the photo, Carmen wrote:
“We are so proud and thankful to welcome Baby Béa into our lives on Friday. Mommy and baby are doing well.”
“Benson and I are very excited about this new chapter in our lives.”
“Baby Béa is so cute and we are so in love with her.”
Carmen was married to Benson on September 30, 2015, in Bali Indonesia. They are now based in Malaysia.
In a previous interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP.ph) on July 2016, Carmen briefly described her married life with Benson.
“It’s good. Actually, it feels the same as before.”
“Nothing much has changed, which I think is a good thing.”
Looking back, it was in 2008 when Carmen top billed ABS-CBN’s drama series “Kahit Isang Saglit” with co-stars Jericho Rosales, Cristine Reyes and Christopher de Leon which was aired here in the Philippines, Malaysia, and other countries through TFC (The Filipino Channel).
On the same year, she also became a judge in “It’s Showtime” and became a co-host on the show “Wowowee” in 2010 with Kelly Misa, Jed Montero, Isabelle Abiera, RR Enriquez, Valerie Concepcion, Mariel Rodriguez and Pokwang.
The 40-year-old actress continued to work on many projects and claimed that her husband had been very supportive of her because he knew how much she loves her work.
“Yes, he’s very supportive. He knows how much I love my job and how much I love working.”
“I cannot be just at home and not do anything. I’ll go crazy.”
