On December 10, Jennica Garcia announced on Instagram that she is pregnant with her second child with husband Alwyn Uytingco. However, feeling blessed to have another child, she shared that she is going through a high-risk pregnancy due to “threatened abortion”.
According to Jennica, she and her husband Alwyn had been wanting a child since January so they were so happy to find out that she’s already pregnant.
“Alwyn and I have been trying since January, ever since the year started that is why I just can’t contain the joy in my heart.”
However, she was having a hard time with her second pregnancy as she was diagnosed by her doctor with a condition called “threatened abortion” where she has been contracting almost every day without actually feeling it. In fact, while having her trans-v ultrasound, the doctor said she was contracting but then she hardly noticed it because she was not in pain.
Jannica was then advised to be on bed rest while taking some medications. She also canceled her “Kalinga ni Nanay” classes for the months of December and January 2018. By February, she hopes she can go back to her usual routine.
On the other hand, Jennica remained optimistic about having another baby as a new member of their family. She also claimed she now appreciates more her husband and Mori, their 2-year-old child, as both of them had been so understanding of her condition.
Meanwhile, Jennica is grateful for those who are praying for her safe pregnancy and the good health of their second child.
Alwyn Uytingco and Jennica had been ‘secretly’ married last February 12, 2014 at Victory Church in Greenhills, San Juan City.
