A construction worker has recently gone viral after he was photographed while reading a book during his lunch break.
In a post on Facebook, netizen Sarah Grace Regala shares the heartwarming photo with the following caption:
While I treat this day as an ordinary Lay-Bored Day, this man is different. This construction worker, reading an interior design book during lunch time, proves that no one can stop you if you really want to learn and perfect your craft.

As Regala indicated, the snapshot was taken on Labor Day which is celebrated on May 1 in the Philippines.
The heartwarming photo has taken social media by storm, gaining over 35k reactions and close to 10k shares just a few days after Regala posted it.
Some people wondered whether Regala bought some books for the man while some even said they would donate money for the man to buy the books he wanted; however, Regala did not post further details about the guy or whether she was able to ask his name and contact number.
We just hope that this guy, whoever he was, will continue his quest for knowledge and remain an inspiration to many…
