A family is rejoicing for the twin achievements of two of its youngsters, a pair of cousins who topped the 2017 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Licensure Examination together – they even got the same score!
Vianca Pearl I. Amores and Marianito Jesus B. Del Rio are second degree cousins who both graduated last April from the University of San Carlos (USC) in Cebu City, central Philippines. Amores graduated summa cum laude while Del Rio graduated magna cum laude.
“I have every reason to be happy with both us sharing the top one position. We share the same wishes and goals,” Amores declared.
The two got the highest score in the exams with a rating of 92.67 percent. But their twin achievements are not the only things that the USC community is celebrating.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) also announced that the school, USC, ranked first among the top performing schools in the country, garnering a passing percentage of 94.29.
Moreover, four other USC graduates made it to the top 10! Isn’t that incredible?
