Yet another Filipina has taken center stage in a talent competition, with a Davao native making it to the semi-finals of Denmark’s Got Talent 2017 (locally called “Danmark har Talent”).
Already well known as a singer in the Filipino community in Copenhagen, Denmark, 33-year-old Jackie Pajo impressed all the judges during her audition for the reality talent competition; all four judges voted for her to be accepted in the show, much to her delight!
Her family definitely loved seeing her on TV; although this was not her first time to sing to a growing number of fans. In fact, Jackie has a huge fan base on social media, with more than 30,000 followers on her official Facebook page as well as 4,300+ subscribers on her YouTube account.

Even before joining Danmark har Talent 2017, she had been working on her own compositions as well as doing covers of various songs which she posts on her YouTube account. She also enjoys using Smule, an app where users can do a ‘duet’ with their favorite stars and upload it on their social media account as if it was a real recording between the user and the artist!

While she made it to the semi-finals, Jackie failed to advance to the finals. Still, the Filipino community is proud that she made it that far and has become an inspiration to many aspiring artists…
