At first glance, one might think that a professional toymaker was the one who made the toys on the table but it turned out that it was Grade 9 student John Paul Valencia from Lipa City, Batangas who created these masterpieces during his free time!
According to ABS-CBN News, the boy goes to Lodlod National High School.
At first, he only wanted to create the toys so he could have something to play with at home and also put on display at their house. To make these crafts, he first takes a photo of the vehicle he likes and copies them at home.

He makes the toys using cardboard or used boxes, using wheels from his younger cousins’ broken toys for his creations. His father, Carlito Valencia, had already noticed his son’s knack for creating various things on his own but was surprised and definitely proud when the boy began to earn money from his crafts.
It turned out the boy’s teachers had noticed his work and were among the first ones to buy his cardboard vehicles to also display at their own homes as they marveled at the craftsmanship of the items, even knowing that these were made from recycled materials!
While John Paul’s priority is his studies, he does enjoy making these crafts and would create these during his free time.
So, what’s his favorite vehicle? A police car!
The young lad admitted that he enjoys making police cars because he wants to be a policeman someday.
Good luck to you, John Paul Valencia! Keep up the good work. We can’t wait to see you as a policeman and renowned artist or toymaker in the future!
