While many rich children take education for granted, there are many poor kids who wish they could finish their studies but their families could not afford to send them to school.
So, when netizen Bernard Nebria saw an old man wearing elementary school uniform and seemingly studying hard at a sidewalk in Imus, Cavite, carrying around seven notebooks, he was inspired.

Touched by what he saw, he took photos of the old man and shared these on social media to serve as an inspiration to others like him to continue their studies – for this old man was trying his best to go to school, Nebria thinks there’s no excuse for others not to do the same!
The post went viral and just as Nebria had expected, many were inspired by the old man and promised to do better in school.
