When the Philippines’ bet to Miss Universe failed to advance to the Top 3, a lot of fellow Filipinos were disappointed. They blamed her vague and supposedly ‘incorrect’ answer to the Question and Answer portion given to the Top 6.
The question was, “What is the most significant change you’ve seen in the world in the last 10 years?”
Medina reply was, “In the last 10 years of being here in the world, I saw all the people bringing in one event like this in Miss Universe. It’s something big to us that we are one. As one nation, we are all together. Thank you. Maraming salamat po.”
Trolls and bashers on social media slammed Medina for her ‘wrong’ answer – but who can really give the best answer to such a question given the time restrictions, huh?
Well, while lots of people offered their own answers to the million dollar question, someone attempted to ask the Philippines’ top internet and phone companies for their answer to this question since there were lots of people who commented that technology and the internet are among the most significant changes the world has since in the last 10 years.
