While having brunch one day at a Jollibee outlet on Retiro cor Mayon St. in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Geo Tolentino Ringor and her husband noticed a kid asking for alms so he could buy food. Instead of the giving the kid money, Geo’s husband John told her to buy a meal for the kid.
But when they give the kid the meal, the boy quickly ran away. Thinking nothing about it, the couple had their meal.
After eating, however, the couple was shocked to see the boy across the Jollibee outlet. He was not asking alms again but was actually sharing his meal with his sister! The little boy was even happily feeding his sister – and it really was so cute to see.
Touched by the moment, Geo shared photos of the young kids on social media. The post had quickly gone viral and, to date, has gained over 94k likes and close to 39k shares.
It truly was a touching moment and reminded us to be grateful always with what we have…
