For many commuters, public transportation drivers are virtually ‘invisible’ – and the only time they talk to the drivers is to tell them the destination or to ask them to stop the vehicle. Unknown to us, this has led to many drivers having a low self-esteem because they think that people only see them as “just a driver”, a lower class worker.
One taxi driver who pitied himself for “being just a taxi driver” after a passenger refused to pay the Php400 fare on the meter – just because she did not have money! – received help from his daughter who shared the matter on Facebook.
The story quickly went viral, with many people praising the taxi driver and slamming the arrogant passenger, telling her that if she didn’t have money to pay the fare, then she shouldn’t have ridden a taxi to get to her destination.

I don’t usually post something like this on Facebook pero I’ve had enough.
But let me tell you this— yes, it fucking happens.
My dad is a taxi driver na ilang beses nang naloko ng pasahero. Just this morning before I go to work naabutan ko si daddy na kakauwi ko lang mula sa 15 hours na pasada.
