Up Dharma Down vocalist Armi Millare said she is afraid to sing Tadhana because of Bubble Gang’s song parody, Tadyakan.
On Facebook, Millare shared a video of Tadyakan and said she fears to end up singing the parody song when she began singing her band’s song Tadhana.
“Afraid to sing Tadhana tonight I might just end up singing Tadyakan,” she wrote.
Millare also replied to a Facebook user who said in the comment section that she doesn’t know if Tadyakan should be offensive or funny.
“Not offensive at all. My Mom would be the first to tell me if it were, but so far she’s still laughing about it! But also happy to understand your brand of respect for the song…. I believe times are hard and this is a crucial time for the entertainment industry to (intelligently) put their craft to use. Michael V has always been testament to that,” she said.
Millare’s post received positive comments from people online.
“That’s why millions of people love you, even me. I’m a big fan of yours. You’ve such a good heart and loving soul. You’re so down to earth. More power to you!” said Facebook user CN.
“Wow, Ms. Armi! You’re a very humble human being. No wonder you make good songs,” commented J.J.
Meanwhile, some expressed hopes of seeing her sing Tadyakan, someday, with Michael V who performed Tadyakan during Bubble Gang’s episode last December 2.
