A netizen who is apparently a constant traveler was pleasantly surprised to see that there is now a free drinking water station at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 (NAIA-3).

Social media user Martin Angelo Dideles posted a message on his Facebook wall and shared a photo of the drinking water station at the country’s premier airport.

In the accompanying photo of Dideles’ post, a sign above the drinking station can be seen. It read: “Free drinking water exclusive for passengers only.”

In his post, Dideles wondered why the previous administration of President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III failed to provide free drinking water for the airport passengers. He said he remembered spending P60 for a small bottle of mineral water every time he is at the airport, but now it is free.

He also noted that the airport now provides free Wi-Fi with a data transfer speed of up to 50mbps (megabits per second).

Here’s his complete post:

“Free drinking water for airport passengers!!! Bat di to naisip ni noynoy noon? Naalala ko noon you need to spend 60 pesos for a small mineral.. ngayon libre na tubig me baso pa, me wifi pa at 50MBps !!!

Mga nagrarally against kay digong wag kayo iinom ha, at wag mag wifi sa airport hehehe.”

[Free drinking water for airport passengers!!! Why hadn’t Noynoy (former president Benigno Aquino III) thought of it before?  I remember needing to spend P60 for a small bottle of mineral water… now it is free and with drinking cup. There’s also Wi-Fi at 50mbps. To those who conduct rallies against Digong (President Rodrigo Duterte), don’t drink and don’t use Wi-Fi at the airport…]
