Pres. Rodrigo Duterte is one of the busiest people in the Philippines – what with having plenty of meetings locally and abroad as well as having lots of things to sign and programs to attend and so much more!
With his family living in Davao City while he spends most of his time in Metro Manila and, occasionally, in trips outside the country, it is expected that his family misses him terribly but could only see him on TV most of the time because they are also living their lives in southern Philippines as his common-law-wife, Honeylet Avanceña didn’t want to uproot their daughter Veronica “Kitty” Duterte from her school and life in Davao City.
Many netizens were, therefore, impressed to see the president making time for his family when he made a visit to Davao last November. It was clear that Honeylet was quite happy to see the president – and though bashers were at it, saying he should be spending 100% of his time for the country, as a human being he is also entitled to spend time and be happy with his family.
But even the time he spent with Honeylet wasn’t 100% theirs because the photo was actually taken during an official function at the SMX Convention Center in Davao City.
