Millennials may have not existed yet in the time of the Martial Law but that does not mean they do not care about history and what the late dictator Pres. Ferdinand Marcos had done to the country; thus, many of them took to the streets to protest against his burial at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.
While most were content with waving their smartphones and expensive tablets in the air as a sign of protest, many were also carrying placards – and wrote rather witty ones that are so “in” with this new generation.
Of course, we don’t condone the bad language they used and we’re not taking sides in the issue but you’ve got to admit these placards are rather witty, even if some might be jokes in bad taste for the opposing faction.
What do you think?
