Where do your taxes go? In a video that has gone viral on Facebook, especially after it was posted by Mocha Uson Blog, two school kids could be seen crossing a raging river using a rope bridge – and the clip is so heartbreaking that many netizens could not help but comment why the local politicians had not done something about this!
In the clip, two kids could be seen crossing the river — with the elder one helping the younger one make it through. They don’t even have safety equipment; one false move and they could fall into those waters!

Some ladies could be heard commenting about the kids crossing the river, saying that they are even lucky that the river is peaceful and low at the time — we could only imagine how extra dangerous it can be if the river is swollen and raging during rainy season…
According to the original post shared by social media user MinYas Mangorsi, the video was taken in G’tum, Brgy. Lanipao, Iligan City in southern Philippines. She wrote, “I hope the government or anybody from this country can do something about this.”
But Mocha Uson’s post represents the anger that many felt after watching the clip.
“Ganito talaga ang nakakasakit ng damdamin at nakakagalit. Habang ang mga punyetang mga Congressman at Opisyal ng LGU nagpapakasasa sa mga pera, ang mga kababayan natin naghihirap ng ganito. Nakakadurog talaga ng puso pag may nakikita akong ganito. Mga walang puso talaga mga pulitiko sa atin. Sana maisulong na ang FEDERALISMO,” Mocha wrote as she reposted the video.
Do you agree with Mocha? Are the local officials and other politicians of the land just busy with getting rich that they do not take into account the welfare of the poor they should really be serving?
I hope the government or anybody from this country can do something about this.
