Would you like to study abroad and get a better chance of landing a job outside the Philippines? New Zealand just might be the answer to your dreams!
New Zealand Ambassador to the Philippines David Strachan has called on students from the Philippines to apply for a spot on the 24 post-graduate scholarships they are specifically offering to Filipinos! Every year, New Zealand actually opens 24 post-graduate scholarships for Filipinos; though it is mostly available in these 3 sectors: disaster risk management, agri-industries and renewable energies.
Seeing that these sectors are very much useful for Filipinos to improve the country, it is no surprise that New Zealand prefers these sectors in their scholarship grant.
“There was an 83 percent increase in the number of Filipino students going down to the courses in New Zealand,” Strachan revealed. This means that you’ll find a community of Filipino students to hang out with at the university of your choice. According to him, there were around 3,600 Pinoy students in the country in 2015.
