Do you often ask your friends for favors? What’s the biggest favor you asked? When you are in a life and death situation, do you always think about your friends and ask them to help you? Most of us would probably say yes.

We often think about our friends whenever we are in a tough or difficult situation, like this story. Lexel Gaboy and Mark Beliña’s story proved that during times of need, you always have a friend who will help you.

Times of Desperation

Lexel found himself in the middle of an unforeseen crisis. He is about to go home from the house of the girl he’s courting via a public transportation. As he was about to pay for his fare, he realized that he doesn’t have enough money: he is short five pesos.

Thinking of no one else but his friend, Lexel sent a message to Mark via Facebook Messenger, saying that he needs to ask a favor. He told his friend to wait for him outside his house and bring money so he can pay for his transportation fare.

Since he is nervous whether his friend will show up or not, he keeps on updating him regarding his current location. He even took a photo of his money, proving that he doesn’t have enough funds to pay for his fare. Being the trustful friend that he is, Mark waited for Lexel so he can hand him 5 pesos.

Finally, Lexel made it to where his friend was waiting. He was able to pay his fare, preventing shame, thanks to his friend’s generosity.

Although he was able to help him, Mark cannot help himself and let his friend go without a good laugh. He even took a video of him while getting out of the van and paying the driver.
