A hilarious video is now making rounds on Facebook. A group of friends decided to surprise one of their pals on his birthday. Instead of the usual birthday parties with cake and balloon, the whole gang decided to prank him with a funeral-style party.
Unusual Way of Celebration
The funny video, which was posted by Glenn Rementizo Pal Mejorada on Facebook, started with the group of friends setting up and walking towards the house of the birthday celebrant, Nash Yu Timkang.
One of them is holding a birthday cake while the others are holding balloons and long candles that we usually use in the cemetery and All Soul’s Day. Once they reached the celebrant’s house, they started singing Ricky Martin’s Livin’ La Vida Loca.
It’s Not the End of the Surprise
But the surprise did not end there. The group suddenly started to pray, like a parody of the mysteries of the rosary.
They were reciting words in a gay language, but it seems that they were looking back at the life of their friend. Every time they are saying a line from their chant, people watching were laughing non-stop.
To make the whole surprise complete, they brought a flower arrangement for the dead. They also sang the birthday song in a slow pabasa tone.
The last surprise of the group? A tarpaulin that looked like a banner for the deceased.
The group also gave a gift for the celebrant. Can you guess what it is? You can see it here:
