Wil Dasovich is ‘Cancer-Free’, Now in Remission from Colon Cancer

“This is the best news I have received since the beginning when I got the diagnosis…”

Fil-Am actor/social media influencer Wil Dasovich revealed on his vlog that he is now in remission after almost a year in chemotherapy.

In August of 2017, Dasovich revealed to his YouTube audience that he had been diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer.

He publicly revealed that he was “officially done with chemotherapy” in a Youtube video he posted last January 8.

“When I walked in, I was like, ‘Just give me the news. I hate the whole anticipation thing.’ And he was just like, ‘It’s gone, everything’s gone.’ And I just, like, shouted it out, ‘I’m going to live!'”

“I got my port removed from my chest which means I am officially done with chemotherapy and almost done with this whole process.”

“My lungs were cleared from the last MRI and Pet scan which means there is no cancer there and it also seems it responded to the chemo well as there was nothing found in my lymph nodes.”

“We’re done, I feel good… I have one final step before I’m officially in remission, and it’s going to be a long and hard week. But I’d say the hardest part is over, and we got through it…”

“We’re not done but we are at the fourth quarter and I can see the finish line.”

Wil Dasovich played “Oliver” in the award-winning film, Siargao.
