Kapuso actor Raymart Santiago admitted that bringing up his children with estranged wife Claudine Barretto was challenging. He claimed he didn’t actually know how to properly raise them but he hoped they’re just fine while growing up.
Raymart knew that bringing up Sabina and Santino in a broken family meant bigger responsibility to him as a father. But then, all he wishes is for them to be able to cope with life’s challenges while growing within an unconventional family set-up.
Apparently, since Raymart got separated from Claudine Barretto in 2013, Sabina and Santino had been staying with Claudine but he can visit them anytime he wanted to. Raymart shared he used to be close to their children but with their set-up, they got somehow affected, too. As a father, he then became worried as to how he would be able to raise them well.
Despite Raymart’s busy schedule, he shared that he made it a point to spend some time with his children. He also calls them on a regular basis to check if they are doing fine.
Raymart is hoping he could be with his children this coming Christmas just like the previous year where they had spent it together with his siblings. He remained positive he would be able to bond with them as he and Claudine were in good speaking terms.
Currently, the Kapuso actor is busy promoting the movie “Haunted Forest” joining Jane Oineza, Jameson Blake, Joey Marquez and Maris Racal among the casts. The movie is the official entry of Regal Films to the Metro Manila Film Festival on December 25, 2017.
Raymart is also busy doing tapings for GMA Network’s drama series, “My Korean Jagiya”.
