Bubble Gang, the longest running comedy show on GMA 7 Network, recently celebrated its 22nd anniversary. This time, the gag show gave its audience a twist by presenting a comedy musical play featuring the songs of the OPM band “Parokya ni Edgar”.
On his Instagram account, Michael V., the gag show’s creative director, acknowledged everyone who exerted their efforts in making their anniversary presentation a success. He shared a series of snapshots taken at the “Parokya Bente Dos: A Laugh Story” and thanked everyone for their hard work.
“The men and women who made this dream a memorable reality. Hangang-hanga ako sa naging ugali ng lahat ng mga taong ‘to.”
“Hindi ako magdadalawang-isip na gawin uli ito with them.”
Michael V. also thanked the show’s fans for supporting them for more than 2 decades.
“And of course, sa lahat ng nanood at patuloy na nanonood sa amin for 22 years. Mahigit dalawang dekada na tayong naglolokohan—at nagtatawanan!”

Bubble Gang’s Anniversary presentation of the musical play “Parokya Bente Dos: A Laugh Story” is a two-part TV special to be aired on GMA. The first part was aired last November 17 and the second part will be aired on November 24.
Bubble Gang is the longest running Philippine comedy sketch gag show airing on GMA Network which premiered on October 20, 1995, with casts Aiko Melendez, Eric Fructuoso, newcomers Susan Lozada, Assunta De Rossi, Jackie De Guzman, Wendell Ramos, Antonio Aquitania with Ogie Alcasid and Michael V. on their early days.
